From Wednesday 23 August, we will be waiting for you on the campus of Toulouse Jean Jaurès Le Mirail University for the opening plenary session which will begin at 5pm and finish at 7pm. During the day you can of course finalise your registration and pick up the paper programme from our volunteers! In the evening a theatre piece awaits you. More info coming soon...
For Thursday 24 and Friday 25 August, your day promises to be packed and studious:
- From 9am to 11am then from 11:15am to 1:15pm, you’ll find what you were looking for in one of the workshops or seminars proposed by social movements from across Europe!
- From 1:15pm to 2:15pm, the time is now for dinner break.
- From 2:15pm to 4:15pm, it’s back to the workshops and seminars
- From 5pm to 7pm: three forums offer you the chance to discuss the most important issues of our time. For more info on these forums, see here.
- And during the evening, films, theatre and music in Toulouse.
And diverse “excursions” to “alternative” places in Toulouse throughout the day to explore the struggles and the concrete alternatives.
Saturday 26, the same again, and possibly more!
- From 9am to 11am then from 11:15am to 1:15pm, the workshops and seminars continue as well as the extramural activities for those that want to play truant!
- From 1:15pm to 2:15pm, we eat.
- From 2:15pm we continue the workshops and seminars until 4:15pm
- From 5pm to 7pm: two forums offer you the chance to discuss the most important issues of our time. For more info on these forums, see here.
- From 7pm to 9pm, a grand gathering of mobilisation allowing us to make way for a return to far reaching activism!
- From 9pm and throughout the night, the time is now to party! Concerts and other entertainment are on the programme... but save a little energy for Sunday because the European Summer University isn’t over yet!
Sunday 27 August, we relax a little with a programme that’s a bit calmer:
- From 9am to 11am then from 11:15am to 1:15pm, exit the seminars, let’s concentrate on the workshops. It’s time to go into action!
- From 1:15pm to 2:15pm, it’s the occasion to share a good meal, all together.
- From 2:15pm to 4:15pm, two forums will permit us to leave with our heads full of ideas and motivation to continue to resist, debate and act!
Then it will be time to go our separate ways and for each of us to return home… all the while being ready to find each other again soon to insist on Global Justice Now!
